How might we nurture and develop the relationships that make us truly happy? (Especially as things get harder — we have kids, we move away from friends, parents get older, etc.)
By age 18, once you graduate high school and leave home for college, 90% of the time you'll spend with your parents is over. If you get married at the age of 35 and live to 80 — even if you do a “weekly date night”, you’ll only go on a maximum of just 2,340 dates in your life. How might we make the most of the time we have to spend actual “quality time” with those we love and care about? How might we be a little more intentional?
Come to this workshop if you value experiences over possessions. In this session you will learn how to (and actually) design a better ritual or experience for you and someone you care about. This experience design workshop can be for a romantic partner, a parent that lives in another state, a sibling that you’ve been meaning to spend more time with, or a friend/group of friends that haven’t gotten together since your bachelorette party. Anyone that is a part of your “core community and village.” Don’t worry, we will invest time to think about who you want to design for at the very beginning (this is the most important part).
