This is Part 2 of the Market Design Principles.

Some people wanted to dig deeper into how some markets are currently implemented and how they could be implemented.

This will be broken down into 2 one hour parts - each hour consisting of Q&A (please bring specific questions if you have any) and free-discussion. There’s no structure per hour so we can go back and forth btw the Q&A and free-discussions.

Please bring questions you want answered and an open-mind for a discussion. We’ll try to spend the first 1hr answering questions and digging deep into some core (market microstructure) concepts - order flow, liquidity, orders vs quotes, etc… Last 1hr, we’ll spend discussing what it means to design ways that information is displayed for people interacting with markets.

I’ll be acting as a “market microstructure expert” and moderate the conversations - specifically, I’ll be trying to give everyone time to speak and share their thoughts.

Please don’t bring (too much) of your work! Goal is to give everyone some foundational knowledge so they can apply to their work, hobby, new venture, misc…
