Once per year, around the start of summer, a curious night market can be found in a Solar A-frame village in the redwoods outside of Healdsburg.
Join us for a night of unique food preparations & emerging technology: the eclectic culture of people building a strange, bright, beautiful future.
Featuring:
Chef David Vardy & the Meteor Grill: unveiling his first-of-its-kind grill that rapidly cooks vegetables & proteins to exquisite perfection using novel ceramics & infrared-maxxing design.
Chef David Baeli’s Shelterwood Pizza: farm-to-table pies in a wood-fired oven running on windfall Madrone wood from post-wildfire recovery work.
Danielle Fong’s Lightcell Donair: Seasoned meat kebabs cooked in the literal glow of the future - a light engine that uses ultra-bright sodium radiation to transform heat-to-electricity more efficiently than a gas turbine.
Moonside Guizhou Culinary Exchange: Sophie Wang & Mike Liu preparing central Chinese dishes with local ingredients to transport you through space & time as a glimpse of our global hospitality network.
(++++ several more exciting stalls to come!)
This event location is approximately 15 minutes by car outside of Healdsburg. We will be arranging shuttle transportation to and from - please RSVP to this event so that we can plan vehicles and food quantities accordingly
