How does it support creatives; how can it support creatives?
I am a legal engineer practicing as a founding patron at lex.clinic and a founding partner at ixian.tech . I run a root node on q.org and have participated in a root node slashing proposal.
For the first half of class, I’ll give a presentation on legal engineering from this deck https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1HqSU7RC1XoO932-GmpqcLDt21IH_0KTIerTP4NuM464/edit#slide=id.g2f0eb192d32_0_0 .
For the second half of class, I’ll discuss how I posit dispute resolution will apply to AVS commitment systems.
objective (~latent-deterministic) will, all else equal, more likely see lawsuits in traditional jurisdictions, including non-consenting forced dispute
intersubjective (~discretionary) will more likely see dispute resolution built into its due process, including novel dispute resolution procedure such as Kleros, Kali.gg and the inverted-precedent project I’m working on while at MegaZu
We’ll discuss commonwealth contract law consideration and how it will interact with these commitments, including a quick lesson on legal seals
We’ll talk about if it makes sense for me to hold legal engineering office hours once a week. I’ve been chatting with a few of you when you approach me, but others might appreciate something more invitational.
